These agents are meticulously synthesized from borate, metal zirconium salt ions, and an array of complexing agents under specific conditions. Consequently, they interact with distinct functional groups within the thickener through coordination or chemical bonds. Within the context of vegetable glue-based fracturing fluids, these crosslinking agents find optimal application at concentrations ranging from 0.1% to 0.8%. They offer commendable crosslinking delay and an expansive spectrum of crosslinking ratios.
